Virtual author visit with Laurie Halse Anderson

Mahone Middle School eighth-graders met virtually with author Laurie Halse Anderson after reading the novel Chains. Laurie shared her writing process, inspirations, and answered questions related to authorship. She met with each eighth-grade classroom for a powerful 90 minute, interactive discussion. This incredible experience for staff and students brought the real world of authorship straight to the classrooms and influenced students to deepen their own writing experiences.
