Special Dietary Information
If your child has food allergies or other special dietary needs, KUSD Food Service would like to meet your student’s dietary needs. Prior to any menu modifications being made, You will need to provide the Medical Statement for Special Dietary Needs form signed by an authorized medical authority (one that can write prescriptions) that outlines your child’s allergies and specific substitutions. This will allow our staff to review the list in an effort to provide you and your child with a list of safe, healthy and nutritious meal options.
It is important to know that product specifications and ingredients change frequently and menu substitutions do occur, often without notification to the district.  We encourage you to use discretion when allowing your child to eat school meals if he/she suffers from food allergies.
