PreACT Secure

PreACT Secure is a state required assessment that gauges student readiness in English, Mathematics, Reading and Science. 9th and 10th grade students will take the PreACT Secure assessment in late winter/early spring.

English: 35 minutes Math: 45 minutes Break: 15 minutes Reading: 40 minnutes Science: 35 minutes Approved supports and accommodations will be provided on the test day.

What to bring on testing days:

  • KUSD issued electronic device (chrome book/laptop) and charging cord
  • Picture identification (school ID or driver’s license)
  • Two #2 pencils with erasers (not mechanical)
  • Calculator (personal calculators must be pre-approved)
  • Snack (during break only)

What NOT to bring on testing days:

  • Cellphones or other electronic devices
  • Watches
  • Scratch paper
  • Notes
  • Reading materials
