About KUSD Fine Arts

Opportunities for participation in KUSD Fine Arts programs vary by grade level. Please visit the Music, Theatre Arts, and Visual Arts pages for overviews of each program. Summer Fine Arts opportunities are outlined on the Summer School page.

2025-26 Theatre Auditions

Audition for the KUSD Theatre 2025/2026 season! Auditions are for students entering 9th–12th grade in Fall 2025.

We will be auditioning for musical theatre performances as well as one evening devoted to auditions for straight shows at Bradford High School. Tremper High School plays will audition throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

To audition: Please choose a time slot on the Sign-Up. Sign up for ONE time slot only for Musical Theatre auditions. Current 8th graders, please sign up at either Mahone or Lakeview K-8. You may need to scroll through several pages in order to find the date/time you’d like!

Audition Tips:

  • For Musical Theatre: Choose a MUSICAL THEATRE or DISNEY song to sing. (no pop/radio songs) that is 1 minute in length, a cappella, and perform a 1-minute monologue.
  • For Bradford Straight Plays: Perform 2 contrasting 1-minute monologues.
  • Please arrive EARLY to the audition site.
  • Please refrain from material that is not school appropriate.
  • 8th graders – here are some monologue options for you! (You can also choose your own!)
