Bose unveil sign donated by memorial fund

Bose Elementary School hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to unveil its newly installed electronic sign donated by David and Marilyn Lauer via the Emily K. Lauer Memorial Fund. The donation, totaling more than $20,000, was made because of the family’s ties to the neighborhood and school where their children attended, and now grandchildren attend. The electronic sign will allow the school to easily communicate updates with families and community members on a regular basis. "There's a lesson in this, too, just like Mr. Rogers would say, 'be a good neighbor.' Be kind. Treat others with respect, love and kindness," Marilyn told Bose students. Thank you, Lauers!!!
