Author John David Anderson visited Washington Middle School today to share stories, his writing process and to discuss the topics of his book "Posted," which takes place in middle school and focuses on bullying, friendships and the power of words. Washington staff members recently read to their students, and school counselor Mrs. Hildreth facilitated a kindness lesson based on the book and had students put positive post-it messages on the lockers. Following the presentation, students also had the opportunity to meet Anderson, get his autograph and ask him questions.
