Summer Band

K-L Band (Completed Grade 5)

Class will meet Monday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. from June 17 through July 17 at Mahone Middle School. Performances will be July 16th (Band Booster Ice Cream Social) and July 17th (Kenosha Pops). An optional field trip to the Lakeview RecPlex is scheduled for July 18. A complete schedule of rehearsals and performances will be distributed to the students during the first week of rehearsals. Continental Band (Completed Grade 6)

Class will meet Monday through Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. from June 17 through July 17 at Mahone Middle School. Performances will be July 4 (Kenosha Pops) and July 16 (Band Booster Ice Cream Social). A complete schedule of rehearsals and performances will be distributed to the students during the first week of rehearsals. An optional trip to Six Flags is scheduled for July 17. Rambler Band (Completed Grade 7-8)

Classes will meet Mondays in May and early June from 6-8 pm, and Tuesdays through Thursdays from 6-9 pm at Mahone Middle School from June 18 through July 15 and includes participation in a ymandatory band camp June 12-15 at St. John’s Military Academy. A complete schedule of rehearsals and performances will be distributed to the students before the end of the school year. Registration will be conducted through the district’s instrumental music instructors. Band of the Black Watch (Completed Grades 9-11)

This year’s mandatory parent meeting is scheduled for May 1st at 7pm at Indian Trail High School and Academy. The first Blackwatch full rehearsal will be on May 6th at 6pm at Indian Trail High School and Academy. Membership in Blackwatch includes participation in a mandatory band camp June 12-15 at Carroll University in Waukesha. In July, the band will be travelling to Quebec City. Registration will be conducted through the district’s high school instrumental music instructors. Fundraisers will begin following the conclusion of the mandatory parent meeting on May 1st.
