Policy 6840 – Student Personal Work Restrictions
The instructional needs of the student shall take precedence over any scheduling of personal student productions or services and materials during the regular school day.
A student enrolled in business or industry related courses may perform limited personal work for himself/herself or a member of his immediate family, using District equipment and facilities, during or outside of regular school hours, providing that such work relates directly to the instructional unit being studied. Such work shall be approved by and under the supervision of the course instructor, as authorized by the principals.
The District shall assume no liability for workmanship. Materials used by the student shall be at his/her own expense.
