Playground activities shall be free from student disruption.

Rule 5138.2 – Playground Supervision
Disruptive behavior, threatening or harassing actions and/or words, or other unacceptable language will not be tolerated.
- School personnel assigned to playground supervision will have the authority to remove disruptive students.
- Disruptive students will be referred to a detention area established by the principal for the rest of the period.
- Repeated incidents of disruptive behavior or an incident of significant disruptive behavior may result in withdrawal of playground privileges until a conference has been held with the student, parent/guardian, principal and supervisory personnel involved.
- Playground safety and supervision will be evaluated on an annual basis by each school taking into consideration unique needs. If necessary, adjustments will be implemented to insure safety for all students. Questions relative to playground safety will be incorporated in the annual parent survey.
