Pleasant Prairie Elementary School held a Read Across America reading event today themed around community workers in their neighborhood. The event began with 24 members of the school's community reading to classrooms. Guests included law enforcement, postal workers, Costco workers, a pilot, Starbucks workers, nurses and more. Then, students and guests moved into the library where students participated in literacy and STEM type activities themed to celebrate Dr. Suess's birthday.
