Hillcrest School transplanted two sugar maple trees at Grewenow Elementary School today. Hillcrest has been growing sugar maple trees from seedlings beginning in 2015 and its tree nursery has finally matured to plant the trees. Hillcrest students trained the elementary students on how to plant and care for the trees under the guidance of Hillcrest teacher William (Jay) Robinson and with help from KUSD’s grounds crew.
