All week, the Pleasant Prairie Elementary School library hosted Earth/Arbor Day events and library lessons. The grade levels then had morning makerspace clubs planned to clean up the school courtyards, clean up litter, as well as participate in culminating crafts and science lessons today. Students also got to learn about stormwater runoff, bumblebees, and the importance of native plants from presenters from the community.
