Somers Elementary School fifth-grader Payton C. recently received a perfect score in this year’s WordMasters Challenge, which is a national vocabulary competition involving nearly 150,000 students annually.

Third-grade students from Curtis Strange Elementary School recently visited the Milwaukee Public Museum.

Celebration

Jefferson Elementary held its Celebration of Learning school-wide event. Students presented high-quality work to an audience beyond the school community, including families and community supporters.

Homemade Products

Third-grade students at Roosevelt created and sold handmade kazoos, glue bookmarks, bird feeders and necklaces. They used the $315 they earned to purchase hygiene products for the Salvation Army.

Snap Circuits

EBSOLA Creative Arts students who previously completed a lesson on electrical circuitry were able to try the new Snap Circuits maker space in the library. Problem solving at its finest!
