Policy 5435.1 – Laser Devices
Student possession of laser pointers, pens or other laser devices which can cause eye damage or other injuries on school premises or while involved in school-sponsored activities is strictly forbidden unless authorized by the school principal. Supervised use of laser devices in a classroom setting will be permitted with the approval of the school principal.

Rule 5435.1 – Laser Devices
Students possessing an unauthorized laser device will be subject to disciplinary action including possible suspension and possible recommendation for administrative review. Students possessing such a laser device will have it confiscated. A parent/guardian will be notified and, if so desired, will be required to personally pick up the device.
