Policy 4392 – Student Teachers and Interns
The District may cooperate with colleges and universities in the acceptance of student teachers and interns in the District. All assignments shall be made through the Office of the Superintendent of Schools or a designated representative.
Student teachers and interns shall be considered supplementary, not substitute personnel, except in emergency circumstances.
Funds received from teacher education institutions as remuneration for supervision of student teachers shall go directly to the supervising teacher.
