Kenosha Public Museum Art Experience Workshop

The Kenosha Public Museum held an Art Experience Workshop today for art students from Bradford High School, Indian Trail High School and Academy, Tremper High School, Reuther Central High School, and Harborside Academy. This is the 27th year that the museum has worked with KUSD high school art departments to offer this workshop to give KUSD students a creative experience with a practicing artist. This year featured two artists – one who taught the students shadowboxing with found objects and an Oneida artist who taught traditional beadwork. The museum also will be hosting a Student Reception on May 21 from 1-2 p.m. so that students can show off their work to their family, friends, and teachers. Student work also will be on display during the week between the workshop and the reception.
