Hansel Lugo receives AAUW Educational Equity/Diversity Award

Please join us in congratulating Hansel Lugo, Bradford High School diversity, equity and inclusion interventionist, for receiving the 2022 AAUW Educational Equity/Diversity Award. The Kenosha AAUW branch recognizes outstanding classroom programs and educators who encourage and exemplify educational excellence and educational equity in Kenosha County schools. Mr. Lugo is being honored for his tireless efforts that resulted in an amazing Hispanic Heritage month celebration last fall that garnered more than 160 attendees. He also focuses on supporting staff and students daily in closing the achievement gaps at Bradford High School, and ensures our learners feel heard and cared for.
