Brass Community School playground build

Brass Community School has a new playground! With no outdoor play equipment for children under the age of 5, Brass has been raising funds for more than two years for a new play space for all of our students to enjoy. Through the hard work and dedication of the entire Brass community, this dream became a reality this week! Play equipment appropriate for ages 2-12 was built by school volunteers led by project managers. The school community has been rallying around this effort with donations, pickle sales, bake sales, and penny drives and was awarded grants and donations from KABOOM! and Keurig Dr Pepper's Let's Play Initiative, Festival Foods, Uline, and other local organizations. The total cost of this project was over $30,000. Thank you to all who helped make this happen for our students!
