Policy 5127 – Photographing Elementary Students
A program of photographing elementary students may be conducted in the schools by parent groups, with the approval of the principal.
No instructional time shall be used for the taking or distributing of pictures or for the collection of money.
Participation and purchases involved in the project shall be voluntary.
Parent groups involved in such projects shall make all necessary arrangements with the principal. Any time required for the project, beyond normal custodial hours, shall include payment of custodial costs by the parent groups.
Parent groups shall provide necessary assistance to the photographer as well as volunteers for distribution and collection.
The principal shall supervise the project and be present in the building during any related activity.
