Mrs. Petersen’s fourth-grade class at KTEC has been working through the Project Lead The Way Launch Module: Waves and Properties of Light with Mrs. Hodges. Students learned that waves move energy from one place to another. Everyone worked through various investigations involving light and sound waves. Through one investigation, students learned that colors are determined by wavelengths of light. For the final problem, students worked through the Design Process to design a board game that incorporates their knowledge of light waves.
