Summer Youth Employment in the Arts program

We celebrated the unveiling of artwork created through the Summer Youth Employment in the Arts program, which recently completed its 18th season of serving at-risk youth in our community.

Through this partnership between Kenosha County and local partner agencies, youth ages 14-21 gain valuable work experience while expressing their creativity through art. Participants, who are referred by social workers, counselors, and other professionals, spend the summer creating murals and other artistic projects that are displayed throughout our community.

We are proud of this opportunity that empowers our students to develop new skills, build confidence, and leave a lasting, positive impact on our community.
