Seniors at Harborside Academy continued their tradition of volunteering at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Pennoyer Park this past weekend as part of their “Seniors to Citizens” expedition.
Students helped with setup, parking, booths, cleanup, and walked alongside the community to support individuals living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, as well as their loved ones and caregivers.
The experience allowed students to connect their learning about brain health and memory to the real world while giving back to their community.
