Policy 2300 – Educational Support Center – Administration
The Superintendent of Schools is the chief administrative officer appointed by the School Board and is directly responsible to the Board for execution of District policies approved by the Board. The Superintendent is responsible for all aspects of the District operation.
Directly responsible to the Superintendent of Schools for the character and quality of the overall organization and administration of the school system are the Executive Directors and Directors.
Administrators will be responsible for the implementation of the objectives of their area of jurisdiction.
The Superintendent will appoint an administrator to be empowered to act for the Superintendent in his/her absence and shall advise the Board accordingly.
