Mahone Middle School STEM Club students competed in the Wisconsin Aerial Jam Drone Competition at Carthage College—and they did an outstanding job! Teams Gateway and Orion competed against middle and high school teams in a series of timed, technical drone challenges.
Team Gateway advanced to the semifinals and earned the Judge’s Choice Award for their outstanding oral presentation, sportsmanship, and ability to adapt to challenges throughout the competition. Congratulations to William Stanley, Caleb Kiesner, Wyatt Pogvara, Jonah Gaudio and Steven Jaworek!
Team Orion also demonstrated strong piloting skills and teamwork during the qualification rounds. Great work by Lauren Brown, Caleb Diaz and Joshua Sternemann!
