Communications

The Office of Communications serves staff, students, families and the greater community through a wide range of services, including:

  • Partnering with local media to highlight the high-quality learning taking place across KUSD.
  • Maintaining and updating district and school websites to ensure families have access to current, accurate information.
  • Printing materials, such as worksheets, flyers, programs, banners and more.
  • Managing social media channels to celebrate school achievements and keep the community informed.
  • Filming districtwide events and Board of Education meetings for public viewing.
  • Coordinating programming and advertising for Channel 20 and YouTube.
  • Creating and hosting family education programs that are open to all residents of Kenosha, Pleasant Prairie, and Somers.
  • Providing crisis communication and media support when needed.
  • Assisting schools and departments with professional design, copywriting and promotional strategies.
  • Representing the district at community and district events.

The professional staff in the Office of Communications is prepared to help all KUSD schools and departments create professional-grade, polished products that will promote KUSD to the communities we support.
