From January 10–12, the Indian Trail High School and Academy Chorale had the incredible opportunity to tour, collaborate and perform alongside some of the most respected names in choral music, including renowned composer Elaine Hagenberg and conductors Lee Nelson, Andrew Last and Bob Demaree.
The ensemble performed in concert with the prestigious Wartburg Choir at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, followed by the Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College, one of the oldest and most prestigious high school choral festivals in the nation, with a legacy spanning over 75 years and nearly 1,000 of the region’s finest student singers selected each year.
We are proud to share that ITHSA Chorale was chosen as the featured high school choir for the festival and invited to perform a 25-minute set, an honor given to only one high school ensemble each year.
Bravo to our talented singers for representing KUSD and our community with excellence!
