Bradford AP Lit Students Deconstruct "A Rose for Emily"

Bradford students in Ms. Sepanski’s AP Literature class took a creative deep dive into William Faulkner’s “A Rose for Emily” by transforming the classroom into a crime scene investigation.

After reading the full text and annotating key details, students worked in groups to analyze character, setting, structure and figurative language. Using textual evidence, they determined guilt and defended their conclusions through written arguments. It was a phenomenal example of literary analysis meets critical thinking!
