School Social Work

Overview

School Social Workers are trained mental health professionals who provide individual or group services to students as a related service in order to benefit and make progress towards IEP goals.

Goals

School Social Workers work to improve the social emotional well being of students, and improve access to education, through direct services as well as connecting students and families with community resources to improve mental health and overall well-being.
