Online ACT Testing for grade 11

Wisconsin requires all 11th grade students to participate in the ACT assessment, which is scheduled for late winter. The testing date for this year is Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

No cost to parents or students

ACT with Writing scores can be used by students for college enrollment, scholarships and NCAA eligibility requirements. Scores can be sent to a maximum of four colleges based on the student’s choice. These colleges must be self-identified on the ACT answer sheet. Scores also will be mailed directly to the home address indicated on the ACT answer sheet 4-6 weeks after testing.


What to bring on testing days

  • KUSD issued electronic device (Chromebook/laptop) and charging cord
  • Picture identification (school ID or driver’s license)
  • Two #2 pencils with erasers (not mechanical)
  • Calculator (personal calculators must be pre-approved)
  • Snack (during break only)

What NOT to bring on testing days

  • Cellphones or other electronic devices
  • Watches
  • Scratch paper
  • Notes
  • Reading materials

*Testing for students with ACT-approved accommodation will be March 10-13 and 16-20.

Modified high school schedule

Only grade 11 students are to report for all high schools on March 10. Specific information for arrival and dismissal times will be communicated at the district and school level.

Busing adjustment

The following modifications apply to high school busing schedules for March 10, 2026, only. Please note that certain schools have specific adjustments. Please contact your child’s school office with any questions or concerns.

March 10 arrival plans:

  • Only 11th grade students should attend on March 10
    • There is no school for 9th, 10th or 12th grade students
    • Harborside students in grades 6-8, as well as all other elementary and middle school students, will arrive at the usual time
  • High school a.m. bus routes will pick up 11th grade students at their usual time, except:
    • Hillcrest students will be picked up 35 minutes earlier than usual
      • Hillcrest students need to report by 8:15 a.m.
  • Reuther’s start time will be 7:30 a.m., rather than the usual 7:50 a.m.

March 10 departure plans:

  • LakeView and Harborside shuttles will depart at 12:40 p.m.
  • Reuther will dismiss at 12:55 p.m.
  • Yellow buses and city buses will depart from Bradford, Indian Trail and Tremper at 1 p.m.
  • Hillcrest buses will depart at 1:50 p.m.
