This month at Whittier Elementary, students stepped into the role of storytellers and historians. They shared powerful stories about inspiring individuals who demonstrated courage, leadership, creativity and determination. From visionary scientists and brave civil rights leaders to groundbreaking innovators and record-breaking athletes, students explored how these individuals opened doors, overcame obstacles, and shaped our world for the better.
