Hillcrest students had the incredible opportunity to visit their mentors at Fire Station #4 for an inside look at what life as a firefighter is like. Students explored ambulances, toured the training tower, and saw firsthand where firefighters eat, rest and prepare for emergencies.
This hands-on experience gave students a deeper appreciation for the teamwork, skill and dedication required in the fire service while also opening their eyes to exciting careers in public safety and emergency response.
Most importantly, the visit highlighted the powerful mentorship firefighters provide, supporting and guiding Hillcrest students both in and out of school. It was an inspiring and unforgettable experience for all!
