What a difference a year makes! After a challenging debut last year, Tremper came back stronger than ever at the Sumo Bot competition hosted by Gateway Technical College — and the results speak for themselves.
A huge congratulations to the powerhouse team of William Kasalajtis, Ryan Corcoran, Aiden Organ, Landen St. Martin, and Joshua Susmilch, who took home FOUR first-place awards:
1st in Sumo Bot (26-team single elimination bracket)
1st in Technical Communication (presentation + engineering notebook)
1st in Team Banner Design
Named Overall Grand Champion Team
Also, major shoutout to our rising stars and first-time competitors Matthew Arechavala, Zachary Clements, Matthew Pokorny, and Quinn Froh, who designed a blazing-fast robot that earned 3rd place in the Slalom Race!
