2026 Senior Snapshot: Dylen Dixon

Name: Dylen Dixon

KUSD schools attended: Jeffery Elementary School, Mahone Middle School, and Bradford High School

Plans after graduation: As a fan of literature and music, I plan to head to college at UW-Parkside. The goal is to study to become a future educator and mentor to the youth of tomorrow.

Favorite KUSD teacher: Mahone choir director Beth Smith and Bradford social studies teacher Scott Coey

Extracurricular activities: Link Crew leader, lead role in My Manana Comes, and lead singer in the Chorale of Bradford High School.

Best KUSD memory: Publishing my first book this past October. My book explores the idea that, in life, we often question who we are. My writer’s journey and journey of excellent poetry wouldn’t have been possible without Bradford High School. My book, What Was Life? – A Dylen Dixon Poetry Collection, is not only my biggest achievement in life but also my biggest academic achievement related to KUSD and the people I love most. This book was never for me; it was for the students and staff of the district. It was an honor and a privilege to publish in the name of Bradford High School.
