2023-24 AP EXAM REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  • AP Exam Registration Fee: $98.00 per exam
    • Registration deadline: November 1, 2023
  • AP Exam Late Registration Fee: additional $40.00 per exam
    • Additional fee starting on November 2, 2023
    • Exam registration fee ($98.00) + Late registration fee ($40.00) = $138.00 per exam registration fee

  • AP Exam Registration Refunds
    • Kenosha Unified School District (KUSD) WILL NOT issue AP exam refunds to students who cancel their AP exam registration after 11:59 PM on November 1, 2023 

AP EXAM REGISTRATION DATES

  • AP exam registration begins: Thursday, September 5, 2023
  • AP exam registration ends: Wednesday, November 1, 2023 @ 11:59 pm

AP EXAM LATE REGISTRATION DATES

  • Late exam registration fee added to all exam orders starting on Thursday, November 2, 2023 @ 12:01 am
  • Final AP exam order deadline: Wednesday, March 1, 2024

2023-24 STUDENT AP EXAM REGISTRATION DIRECTIONS

Students wanting to register for an AP exam must complete both steps 1 and 2

Step One – College Board MyAP

*ALL students must complete step one

  • How to “Join Your AP Class Section”  – Instruction Sheet
  • How to “Join You AP Class Section” – Instruction Video
  • Login to MyAP 
    • Use the same login information from last year
      • Students with an account but can’t remember the username or password, enter your email and click the “Need help signing in” link or call College Board at 888-225-5427 for assistance
    • New user – click on the Sign Up link to set up a username and password
      • The username and password will be used every year
  • MyAP  
    • Click Join a Course or Exam button
    • Enter Join Code provided by your AP teacher 
    • Verify course information to make sure the information that comes up is for the course you’re taking, if it is, click yes
    • Register for Exam tab
      • AP Exam status indicates “Undecided”
      • Undecided MUST be changed to “confirm registration” or “No, I wish to remove myself from taking this AP Exam” by  November 1, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
        • After November 1, exam status is changed from “Undecided” to “No”
        • After November 1, students must contact the School AP Coordinator to register for an AP exam. A $40 late fee will apply
      • Students who choose “confirm registration” will have an AP exam ordered upon completion and payment in Total Registration (see Step Two below)

Step Two – Total Registration (TR)

  • Only complete if you have registered for an AP exam in MyAP
  • Exam registration and payment must be completed in TR by November 1, 2023 at 11:59 PM
    • ALL of the questions must be answered completely
    • Complete Total Registration and fee payment using the link below

    • Any student who doesn’t register in Total Registration AND submit payment by November 1, 2023 will be automatically marked as “No, I wish to remove myself from taking this AP Exam” in MyAP
    • Students who choose to register for an exam after November 1, 2023 will be charged a $40 late registration fee, in addition to the cost of the exam for a total exam fee of $138.00 per exam
    • AP Exams regular registration costs are waived for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. Students must apply and qualify for the current year for free/reduced lunch.  Apply at: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application. Language can be switched by clicking on “Language” link in the upper right hand corner.
    • ALL payments (credit/check) are made directly thru Total Registration and not the school. NO CASH payments accepted.Checks should be mailed to address below along with paystub. Students should allow a minimum of 1 week for mailing and processing.Total Registration, LLC
