Indian Trail Cheer Wins Consecutive State Championship

On Saturday, Feb. 21, the Indian Trail Varsity Gameday Cheerleading team took the mat at the WACPC State Finals in Green Bay, WI. Competing against five of the top teams in the Gameday Co-Ed Large division, the Indian Trail Hawks rose to the challenge — and claimed the title of State Champions for the second year in a row.

Through obstacles, setbacks, and moments of doubt, this team chose to show up and earned this title. Early mornings. Late nights. Extra reps. Tough corrections. They built trust. They built leadership. They built resilience. And when it mattered most, they finished what they started.

Senior Captain Bennett Scuglik also competed in the All-State solo division, earning his highest score yet and securing a spot on the All-State team for the fourth consecutive year!

We are incredibly proud of your hard work and dedication. Congratulations to the team and coaches on an amazing season and an unforgettable victory! GO HAWKS! 🖤💜
