Our Introduction to Engineering Design students just wrapped up an incredible project: designing and building their own underwater Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs)! The mission? Navigate the depths of the pool and collect items from the bottom.
This wasn’t just about assembly—students built their own remote controls from scratch, mastering soldering and electrical wiring. Once in the water, they faced real-world physics, working hard to correct buoyancy issues and optimize their designs.
Most importantly, they worked as teams, overcame adversity, and leveled up their problem-solving skills. Way to go, future engineers! 👏💡
