Registration Dates
- Registration Begins: Sept. 1, 2026
- Registration Deadline without late fee: Oct. 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
- Final AP Exam order deadline: Feb. 26, 2027
Fees
- AP Exam Registration Fee: $99 per exam
- Exam Late Registration Fee: additional $40 per exam
- Additional fee starting on Oct. 31, 2026
- Exam registration fee ($99) + Late registration fee ($40) = $139 per exam registration fee

- Kenosha Unified School District WILL NOT issue AP exam refunds to students who cancel their AP exam registration after 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 30, 2026

Registration Directions
Students wanting to register for an AP exam must complete both steps 1 and 2.
AP Late Registration – If you are registering after the Oct. 30, 2026 deadline, begin the registration process at Step 2. Pay the exam and late fee, and be sure to talk with the AP Coordinator. The AP Coordinator will register you into the course and section in College Board.
Step 1 – College Board MyAP

- Login to MyAP
- Use the same login information from last year
- Students with an account but can’t remember the username or password, enter your email and click the “Need help signing in” link or call College Board at 866-630-9305 for assistance
- New user – click on the Sign Up link to set up a username and password
- The username and password will be used every year
- Use the same login information from last year

- Click Join a Course or Exam button
- Enter Join Code provided by your AP teacher
- Verify course information to make sure the information that comes up is for the course you’re taking, if it is, click yes
- Register for Exam tab
- AP Exam status will default to “Undecided”
- Undecided MUST be changed to “confirm registration” or “No, I wish to remove myself from taking this AP Exam” prior to Oct. 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
- After Oct. 30, exam status is changed from “Undecided” to “No”
- After Oct. 30, students must contact the School AP Coordinator to register for an AP exam. A $40 late fee will apply
- Students who choose “confirm registration” will have an AP exam ordered upon completion and payment in Total Registration (see Step Two below)
Step 2 – Total Registration
- Only complete if you have registered for an AP exam in MyAP
- Exam registration and payment must be completed in TR by Oct. 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
- ALL of the questions must be answered completely
- Complete Total Registration and fee payment using the link: Harborside AP Exam Registration
- Any student who doesn’t register in Total Registration AND submit payment by Oct. 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. will be automatically marked as “No, I wish to remove myself from taking this AP Exam” in MyAP
- Students who choose to register for an exam after Oct. 30, 2026 will be charged a $40 late registration, in addition to the cost of the exam for a total exam fee of $139 per exam.
- AP Exams regular registration costs are waived for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. Students must apply and qualify for the current year for free/reduced lunch. Apply at: Free/Reduced Lunch Application. Language can be switched by clicking on “Language” link in the upper right hand corner.
- ALL payments (credit/check) are made directly thru Total Registration and not the school. NO CASH payments accepted. Checks should be mailed to address below along with paystub. Students should allow a minimum of 1 week for mailing and processing.

AP Digital Testing
Beginning in Spring 2025, most AP exams will be moving to a digital or digital hybrid exam format. For more information regarding digital exams, click on the links below. Exams will be administered using the Bluebook testing App which can be found in Apps on student Chromebooks. Students may practice using the testing platform by logging into the app Bluebook with their College Board student account.
