Attention students entering 11th and 12th grade!
If you are interested in the Summer CNA Program, the application is posted today on the KUSD Dual Credit webpage. Please complete the application and submit it electronically to Aaron Williams. This information, along with the direct link to the KUSD webpage, is also posted in your Google Classroom.
Attention Juniors! There will be a free stem field trip to Carthage College on March 26th from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Students will tour the engineering, IT, and biomedical departments and learn more about programs and career pathways in these fields. Lunch will be provided by Carthage. If you would like to attend, please stop by the office to pick up a permission slip. The trip is capped at the first 35 juniors who return their completed permission slips.
Seniors – Have you completed your community service hours yet? A minimum of 10 community service hours is required for graduation! If you have completed your hours (or even a few of them), be sure to fill out the blue community service form located in the main office. Completed forms can be returned to the main office or given to Mrs. Spangler.
Today all juniors will be called to the Commons during block 3/4 for part 1 of ACT Prep. Students should go to their period 3 class first for attendance, and then wait for the announcement on the intercom. The next ACT Prep day will be on Monday, March 9 (also during block 3/4).
Junior students – You will be taking the ACT on Tuesday, March 10. Be sure to arrive at school no later than 7:15 AM. Bring a fully charged computer and your charger. Dismissal is at 12:40 PM. You have until March 12 to log into your MyACT account to select up to 4 colleges or scholarship agencies to receive your score (for free)! On Tuesday, March 24, 9th and 10th grade students will take the PreACT Secure Exam, and 10th graders will also complete the WI Forward (Social Studies) Exam. School starts at normal time (7:15AM) and ends at 12:40PM. Shuttles will leave LakeView at 12:40PM. Students must bring a fully charged computer and charger! Before test day, students must restart their computers to be sure the testing apps are up to date. More information has been posted to your grade level Google Classroom. SPORTS
The LakeView Bowling club has had another outstanding season. Our boys Varsity team has qualified for the State Tournament being held this Friday thru Sunday. We also had two students that qualified for State singles. Those students are Jon Boulanger and Evan Feudner. Please join me in congratulating:

Bradford Softball is looking for girls interested in playing Softball this spring. The season starts on Monday, March 16th. If you live in the Bradford boundary area and are interested in Softball, please email Coach John Ruffolo at jruffolo@kusd.edu for more information.
