6/6/24

Next week begins Semester 2 Final Exams.  On Monday, June 10th, you will attend periods 1, 2, 5, 6 and be released at 12:00 PM.  Tuesday, June 11 will be periods 3 and 4 and students will be released at 10:20 AM.  Wednesday, July 12 will be period 7 and 8 and students will be released at 10:20 AM.  Good luck on your finals!

Next week is final exams and final exam days are shorter than the regular school day. You can find the exam schedule on LakeView’s homepage.  Students are expected to attend all their class periods as scheduled. If you have a AAA, a parent may put an absence request in the portal, or call the main office to excuse you.  Most importantly: student’s will not be released from school until the class period ends – even if you finish your final before everyone else. Calling into class when others are still taking their final exam is disruptive; bring a book, or something quiet to do.

Attention Harborside Students – There are no Harborside classes for the remainder of the school year.  You will go to Mr. Schroeter’s room in 202 for periods 7 and 8, unless you have a ride.  You do not need to sign out in the Main Office.

Students who took an AP Exam: Your scores will be available to you online beginning July 8.  Remember – you have the option to send one score report for free to the college, university, or scholarship organization of your choice.  Score reports include this year’s and past AP exam scores (unless you choose to withhold or cancel a score).  The deadline to indicate or change your free score recipient is June 20, 2024.  Details are online at the AP Students website.   Students can also visit www.cb.org/apfreescoresend

The Yearbook order date has been extended to Thursday.  Scan the QR code on the flyers in the main office, posters around the building or go to the LakeView homepage for a link to place your order.  Yearbooks are $55.  Please see Mrs. Overocker with any questions.
