Dear Harborside Families,
Mold cleanup is still underway, and we have been told the building will be accessible by Sept. 1.
The first day of school will move to Wednesday, Sept. 2, and staff will report on Sept. 1 to prepare their classrooms and the building for students.
To make up for the loss of instructional time, Oct. 30, 2026, and March 25, 2027, will be converted from half days to full days for students.
We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to navigate and address this issue. We are committed to keeping our families and staff informed and making sure the building is safe and ready for students.
We are excited to welcome our students and families back on Wednesday, Sept. 2! We look forward to seeing everyone and having a great school year.
