2026 Senior Portrait Submission

October, 2025
Dear Parents and Guardians of LakeView Class of 2026,

As senior year is underway, it is time for senior portraits to be taken. In order to include your student’s senior portrait in the 2025 – 2026 LakeView Yearbook, a digital copy must be turned in before the end of the school day Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Digital copies must be uploaded through this form.

If your student has already had senior portraits taken, please send the link to the photographer.  For any questions, please have the photographer/studio contact Mrs. Overocker directly at joverock@kusd.edu.

Portraits must meet the following requirements:
– The digital image must be taken with a 16 megapixel camera or higher.
– The image resolution should be at least 300 dpi
– The image must be at least 1600 x 2100 pixels.
– Do not upload screenshots.
– The photograph must be portrait/vertical. (Horizontal/landscape photographs will be cropped in order to be  used on the senior portraits page.)
– The portrait must be a waist up, bust shot, or close up. (No full length standing photographs.)
– Clothing worn in the portrait must follow the school dress code.
– Background and props used in the portrait must be school appropriate.

– Do not submit photos with filters.

We recommend using a professional photographer, but if you plan to take the portrait yourself, here are some tips to make sure you get a good picture:
– Use white or natural lighting.
– Keep the camera at eye level.
– Take the photo vertically.
– Have the lighting facing the subject, not behind them.

– Choose a background that is not distracting from the subject.
– * If you are using an iPhone please make sure to use the correct image format (Use JPG not the Apple HEIC compressed file). Under iPhone Settings to Camera, tap Formats and select Most Compatible before taking the portrait. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Overocker at joverock@kusd.edu, or call the main office to leave a message.
