Announcements

10/9/26

There are no Harborside classes today, October 9.  Students should go to their assigned study hall classrooms period 8 or may leave if a “Harborside Only” release form has been signed or parent/guardian puts in an absence request.

How to order school pictures – We have a new photography company this year – VIP (Visual Image Photography). Every parent / guardian should have received an email from support@vipis.com after our first picture day, September 4th.  Please check your spam box as well.  This email will have a link where you can order your photos.  If you didn’t receive an email, you can email VIP at support@vipis.com or visit their website at vipis.com.

Picture Retake Day is today, October 9th.  If you have a morning release, please come into the building before 9AM for your retake.  Students will be called down in groups over the intercom.

Please check the lost and found box in the main office.  There are many items in there already.

Attention students! You’re invited to join the Student Voices Council where you’ll have the opportunity to talk with district leaders, share your experiences, and help us better understand the student perspective. Participants will talk about topics that affect students, including weapons detection systems, cell phone policies, and AI use in schools. You’ll even help decide which topic we discuss at your session!  There are four sessions available at different high schools throughout October. Log in to Parent Square to learn more and sign up for the session that works best for you.

Attention AP Students: If you are planning to take an AP exam this school year, remember that you must complete both steps to register. First, confirm your registration on your College Board account: https://myap.collegeboard.org. Then, submit your payment through Total Registration: https://user.totalregistration.net/AP/501822. Each exam costs $99. Be sure to register by Friday, October 30 to avoid late fees. Starting October 31, a $40 late fee will be added for each exam. If you have any questions contact Mr. Preuss!
