Somers School Community
Mission: To foster a collaborative environment where parents, teachers, and the community work together to enrich the educational experience and well-being of all students. This is achieved by members dedicating time to support school initiatives both in and outside the classroom, and through their committed efforts to raise funds for programs, equipment, technology, materials, and experiences that elevate Somers Elementary School beyond the standards of other schools.
Our meetings occur every month in the school library from 6-7 p.m. Our principal, staff and committees share all the happenings at Somers and what to look for in the coming months. Learn about all the extra opportunities happening at Somers.

Throughout the year, SSC brings our school community together through a variety of fun events, family activities, fundraisers, and opportunities to support our students and staff. From family nights and special celebrations to restaurant nights, fundraisers, staff appreciation, and exciting school events, there’s always something happening!
These events not only create memorable experiences for our Somers families, but the funds raised also help support additional programs, activities, equipment, and opportunities that benefit our students and school.
