Career highlights
I began teaching in New York state during the time the Soviet Union collapsed, the Berlin Wall came down and Apartheid ended. It was such an exciting time to teach history. I returned to Kenosha to teach at Bradford High School and helped to develop the Bridges Program. I was selected as Teacher of the Year in 2000. I have worked at all of the comprehensive high schools and am currently enjoying being part of the Reuther Central High School community.

What I love most about Reuther
I love Reuther because it fosters a sense of belonging and acceptance for everyone. Here, each individual student feels valued and respected. Our staff creates a supportive environment where students can thrive. Whether someone is struggling academically or socially, our community comes together to uplift and empower each other. In this nurturing atmosphere, learning becomes more than just academics—it’s about personal growth and building confidence. This school isn’t just a place of education; it’s a home where everyone is welcomed with open arms, and that’s what makes it truly special.
