Highlights

  • Philosophy and culture is built around the Circle of Courage, which focuses on four main areas to prepare students for their future: Belonging – Be Here, Mastery – Be Your Best, Independence – Be Self-disciplined and Generosity – Be Kind.
  • Largest middle school in KUSD with specifically designed wings to house each grade level with three different grade-level schedules, creating essentially three schools within a school.
  • State-of-the-art technical equipment and a fantastic fine arts program with more than 50% of students participating in band, choir or orchestra.
  • 21 academic offerings, 10 elective offerings, 30 club activities, seven athletic opportunities, and 12 intramural activities throughout the middle school experience.
  • Emphasis on service where students are expected to volunteer within the school and/or greater community.
