Meet Jason Standish, the mind behind the magic that brings the universe a little closer at Bradford High School!

Through engaging, hands-on lessons, Jason immerses students in scientific discovery, turning complex concepts into experiences that spark curiosity and excitement. His AP Physics and Astronomy classes are legendary among students. They are challenging, fun and the perfect way to wrap up senior year with a sense of wonder.

Beyond the classroom, he expands learning for the entire community. He creates planetarium shows for elementary field trips and families alike, partnering with the Community Relations Department to deliver wildly successful Night at the Planetarium programs. These events have become a favorite, inspiring learners of all ages to look up and ask big questions.

As an educator and mentor, he encourages students to push themselves academically, take on rigorous coursework, and imagine futures in science and STEM. His passion for teaching and sharing the night sky is unmatched.
