Battle of the Books

State Battle of the Books is for any interested 4th and 5th grader. Our State BOB is complete for the year.

Third Grade Battle of the Books- for any interested 3rd Graders. We meet Mondays at recess. Questions? Reach out to Mrs. Olson.

Safety Patrol

Students in 4th and 5th grade can apply and are selected to be in Safety Patrol. Questions- please reach out to Mrs. Schantek.

Yearbook

Any 5th graders can be a part of yearbook. Students will be responsible for taking pictures, yearbook layout, interviews, writing and group photos. Meetings will be held at recess on Tuesdays. Questions reach out to Mrs. Olson.

Eagle Report

Any 5th graders are able to be an Eagle Reporter. We film on Flipgrid every week. Details can be found on our Eagle Report Page.

Somers Basketball

Our after school program through the Boys and Girls Club is over for the year.

Scripp’s National Spelling Bee

This will be online this year. Your teacher will send information out in December/January. Questions reach out to Mrs. Beere.

Black History Bee

Is during the month of February. Questions reach out to Mr. Wolf.

ALATS Dance

Somers offers a dance class on Wednesdays after school.
