The Kenosha Unified School District, in partnership with the City of Kenosha Fire Department, City of Kenosha Police Department, Department of Justice, Kenosha County Emergency Management, Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department, and Village of Pleasant Prairie Police Department, will be hosting a multi-agency tabletop exercise on Tuesday, July 30, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Bullen Middle School, 2804 39th Ave.
Community members are advised that this training will increase emergency response vehicle traffic in and around the Bullen Middle School area. It is designed to help assess skills and plans for emergency response in a community crisis situation.
“This joint training exercise is a collaborative effort between schools, law enforcement, fire service, and emergency management to prepare for potential crises before they occur,” said Sgt. Chris Hannah, director of Emergency Management. “Working together during this training will allow us to build relationships and improve organizational communication channels allowing everyone to act swiftly and effectively in real emergencies. I look forward to participating in this beneficial training to support a safer environment for students, staff, and the community.”
Residents and drivers should plan accordingly and avoid the area during the exercise to ensure safety and minimize disruptions.
