Counselors
The Role of The School Counselor:
Our school counselors are dedicated to helping every student feel supported, connected, and successful throughout their middle school years. Middle school is an exciting time of growth, new opportunities, and important transitions, and our counselors are here to guide students every step of the way.
School counselors work with students on academic planning, social and emotional well-being, goal setting, and college and career awareness. Whether a student needs help adjusting to middle school, resolving a conflict with peers, managing stress, improving organization, or planning for future success, our counselors provide a safe, caring, and confidential space where students can ask questions and receive support.
Our counselors also partner with families, teachers, and administrators to ensure each student has the resources they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom. By building positive relationships and encouraging resilience, responsibility, and confidence, they help create a school community where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed. Each counselor is assigned a grade and says with that grade through middle school so that they are able to form deeper connections with the students they serve and be as supportive as possible over the three years your student is in in middle school.
We encourage students and families to reach out to our counseling team whenever they have questions or need support. Together, we are committed to helping every student reach their full potential.
