Science | Hello Olympians! Lance is such an amazing school and I am so happy to be here! I have been in education for 30 years and have had a variety of jobs. I have been a science teacher, an assistant principal, a principal and a Social Emotional Learning Interventionist. I have worked at McKinley Jr. High & Middle School, Jefferson Elementary, Lincoln Middle and I have been at Lance for eight years. I have two sons that are both in high school, one at Tremper and one at Lakeview. We love to be outdoors, camp, travel, hike, kayak and play with our dog scout. My husband and I have been married for 19 years and we both work for KUSD. We cheer on the Packers and the Chicago Cubs…Go Cubbies!! |

Social Studies | With over two decades of teaching experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the classroom. Having spent nine years in high school, three years as a dean, and nine years in middle school, I’ve taught a diverse range of subjects from Algebra Concepts to Biology to History. As a neurodivergent individual diagnosed with ADHD as a teenager, I harness my boundless energy to engage and inspire students; although I sometimes find interpersonal communication challenging. A seasoned traveler, I’ve lived in Michigan, Virginia, Key West, Florida, Phoenix, Arizona, and now call Kenosha, Wisconsin home. Alongside teaching, coaching is my true calling—I’ve coached football for 15 years, mentoring players from Tremper, Mahone, and Lincoln, some of whom have gone on to the NFL. Recently, I’ve dedicated eight years to coaching my son’s soccer teams. In my free time, I indulge in writing history lessons, playing paintball, and watching TikTok. |

Resource Teacher | Meet Mary Berry, a dedicated educator from Kenosha, WI, with a deep love for teaching and learning. With a loving husband, two wonderful children, and a furry companion named Bailey the Goldendoodle. My life is full of warmth and joy. My journey through Catholic schools shaped my belief in the power of education, leading me to earn my bachelor’s degree at Saint Norbert and later my teacher’s license and master’s at Carthage College. Surrounded by a big family with five brothers and sisters-in-law’s, along with numerous nieces and nephews, I deeply value connection and community. When I am not cheering on Notre Dame football, playing basketball, tennis, or volleyball, or enjoying a musical, I am embracing my Italian heritage through its rich cuisine. My unwavering belief in creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students reflects her commitment to nurturing young minds with care and compassion. Join me on my journey of teaching, where my passion for education and empathy shines brightly, inspiring students to reach their full potential. |
